So I had a talk with a big time banker the other day (edit- sorry, not big time, more like, medium-time? And I should have said investment banker)
Turns out, they don’t really care who wins. What they care about is that people stay invested.
That means they have multiple narratives. They tell Trump supporters that things will be ok, and tell Biden supporters that things will be ok.
And since Biden is up ~12 points, they are finding a way to again tell people things will be okay…
As long as they can still invest your money, and get their cut, it doesn’t matter what happens…
They are playing the public to make money. Or, maybe Golden Sachs just wants you to feel a warm fuzzy feeling…
You decide which is more likely…
